The Foundation seeking alliances with
relevant institutions in support of its VIsi Institute Taiwan
The Foundation is categorized as an
institution providing services to promote research and development for
business innovation and creation. In the same industrial service
category are numerous experienced and highly skilled others, such as
industrial development organizations, technology-based associations and
technology consulting companies. The Foundation has found many academic
and research institutions that plays key roles in the development of
advanced technology and the formation of theory, including those in
colleges and universities, research units founded for national defense
technology development, such as National Chung-Shan Institute of Science
and Technology, and government-supported legal entities, such as the
Industrial Technology Research Institute, Metal Industries Research and
Development Centre, and Commerce Development Research Institute.
To work effectively so that its VIsi
Institute Taiwan can provide makers with a fund and a platform for their
research and development, the Foundation will ally with the following
institutions:
1. National Cheng Kung
University (NCKU)
The Foundation will seek strategic
collaborations with NCKU to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
2. National Chung-Shan Institute
of Science and Technology (NCSIST)
Since its official transformation
into an administrative legal entity on April 16, 2014, National
Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology has continued its efforts
to integrate civilian strengths and resources for the development of
national defense technology to achieve national defense independence and
autonomy in Taiwan. The Foundation will seek an alliance with NCSIST
based on the existing network of cooperation between NCKU’s Graduate
Institute of Aeronautics and NCSIST to attain mutually beneficial
outcomes.
3. Commerce Development Research
Institute (CDRI)
The Commerce Development Research
Institute, a national-level think-tank for research and development in
service industries, functions to facilitate the commercialization of new
businesses and innovations, the establishment of a supply chain system
for service industries, the cultivation of talented individuals and the
promotion of competitiveness among new businesses in these industries. |
